Hit 10,000 feet of cable pulled last month and it just felt like another Tuesday

I've been running conduit and pulling wire for 8 years now, and everyone in my shop acted like 10k was some huge milestone worth celebrating. But honestly, all I could think about was the three service calls I had to run on OT that week because of a bad controller swap I did back in July. Anybody else feel like hitting big numbers just means you probably messed something up earlier that week?

Wait, you had to come back and fix a controller swap that YOU did months ago? Thats rough man. I thought I was the only one that has those ghosts coming back to haunt me on a random Tuesday. 10k feet of cable is a solid number but if it comes with a side of rework from a bad swap, it kinda kills the vibe. Hopefully that controller issue was just a one time thing and not a pattern, because that would really suck.

Oh man, 10k feet of cable! That is a ton of work. But seriously, coming back to your own old swap is the worst. I had a buddy who had to go back six months later to fix a terminal block he forgot to tighten. The whole crew ragged on him for weeks. That one mistake probably made him triple check every connection after that.
