Warning: I used a generic power supply on a 2019 MacBook Pro and it fried the logic board.

My old 2011 MacBook Air survived cheap chargers for years, but this post changed my mind.

Guess the new ones are just built different, in the worst way. My condolences to that logic board.

Yeah masonb42, my 2015 Pro is still kicking with the original charger.
