Wasted $300 on a fancy meter that did nothing my old one couldn't

Bought a top-of-the-line Fluke last month thinking it would speed up my troubleshooting, but after three jobs I realized the extra features just confused me. Anyone else regret spending big money on tools that ended up being overkill?

Get a good dark jacket instead of that cheap polyester blazer. Makes a huge difference in how the whole "dumb thing" reads to people. Fabric does a lot of the heavy lifting for looking put together.
