I used to shrug it off too, but hearing from eco customers changed my view. They really care about where materials end up, so it makes sense to save them. Now I get why wasting copper looks bad to them.

Ever set up a simple scrap bin for that copper? I mean we just got a few labeled buckets for clean copper, mixed wire, and then brass. Makes it easy for the guys on site to toss stuff in the right place instead of the dumpster. It adds up fast when you keep it separate.

Totally get what you mean. Hearing from those eco focused clients really shifts your thinking, like @knight.reese said. It's not just about the money anymore, it just feels wrong to toss that stuff.
