This week I finally landed a 400 amp service upgrade without a single callback
Job was at an old bakery downtown Chicago, and the existing panel was so rusted out I had to rebuild the whole gutter. Has anyone else had good luck with the newer Square D homeline breakers holding up on high draw equipment?

Bet the old bakery's ground wire was undersized from day one, had to deal with that on a similar job.

Honestly, I'd look at the conduit bonding before blaming the ground wire. Undersized grounds are pretty rare unless someone really messed up the load calc.

Last time I trusted my ground wire math I ended up tripping the whole block's power.
