Swapped out my old beater screwdrivers for Wera a month ago and it finally clicked
Honestly, I used to just grab whatever random screwdriver was lying around on site and wrestle with stripped screws all day. Ngl, my wrists were killing me after every big panel job. Last month I finally picked up a set of Wera Kraftform chiseldrivers after a buddy swore by them at a job in Denver. The grip and the steel just make everything smoother, I don't know why I waited so long. Has anyone else noticed a big difference swapping out basic hand tools for something nicer?

Hold up, are your wrists actually getting wrecked from screwing stuff? I've been using the same beat to hell Stanley set my dad gave me like ten years ago and I don't think I've ever blamed a tool for making my body hurt. Feels like you might just be twisting too hard or using the wrong bit, not a screwdriver problem. But hey, if it makes you feel better about spending the money then go for it.

alexc93 man, I'm not saying your grandpa's Stanley set isn't built like a tank, but my wrists aren't made of the same steel. Maybe I'm just getting old and soft, but after a weekend of building that IKEA nightmare, my joints were screaming louder than my back. It's not about twisting too hard, it's about those cheap handles digging into your palm like a rock. But hey, if your beat up ten year old tools are working for you, more power to your iron man wrists. I'll just keep my fancy ergonomic toy and my ability to open a pickle jar.
