Finally stopped fighting with Wago lever nuts on my last service call

I used to be a die hard wire nut guy. Been using them for 10 years. But last week I had to swap out like 15 old receptacles in a tight crawl space in Cleveland. Wire nuts kept coming loose because I couldn't get good leverage. Grabbed a pack of Wago 221s on a whim and man, what a difference. Anyone else switch teams and never look back?

That's a fair question, @jamesm48. So the 221s are actually lever-lock connectors, not the push-in style you're thinking of. The push-in ones are the 2273 series, which I've heard mixed things about. For the 221s, you just flip the lever up, stick the wire in, and snap it down, real simple. They're the ones that made me finally ditch wire nuts for good.

You still grabbing the push-in holes on the 221s or sticking with the lever ones for everything?

Big pattern I notice is how every trade is slowly going the same way we already went with impact drivers and Milwaukee Packout. @jamesm48, you mentioned push-in holes and that's exactly where the old guard gets stuck. Lever wagos are like switching from a flathead screwdriver to a cordless drill - same job, but way less fighting your tools.
