Spent 3 hours trying to match paint for a patch job in Bonnie Doon
Turned out the original can I saved from 2 years ago had dried up, and the store told me the batch number was discontinued. Anyone else run into this paint matching nightmare or is it just me?

Actually you want a bigger chip than that, like at least the size of a quarter. The scanners have trouble with tiny pieces and give you a weird match. Plus make SURE the chip is clean and dry or the scanner will read the dust instead. I learned this the hard way after three bad matches on my trim.

Oh man, that's the worst! Grab a tiny chip of the old paint and let them scan it.
