Tbh @owens.cameron that's rough, but a good coat of primer hides a lot of sins honestly.

My uncle tried that and now his garage has three different textures where he gave up halfway through.

oh man that is literally my garage right now. I was so pumped to start, got the first coat down and it looked amazing, then I realized I didn't buy enough paint and the store was closed. By the time I got back the next day, the second coat didn't match the first because I guess I mixed the stuff wrong or it dried differently. Now I've got this one wall that's smooth, one that's got roller marks, and the ceiling is just bare drywall with some primer on it. My wife won't even go in there anymore. What was your plan for finishing it?
