I finally swapped my old miter saw blade for a Diablo one
Was fighting through pressure treated 2x6s for like an hour after work yesterday, then grabbed a 60 tooth Diablo from Home Depot on Whyte Ave and it cut through like butter. Anyone else been slow to ditch the blade that came with the saw?

Oh man, same here. Kept thinking the stock blade was fine until I finally caved and now I can't believe I waited so long.

...is it really that big of a difference though? Like I get that some stuff is better but I always feel like people hype up blades way too much. @daniel_walker you sure you weren't just really wanting an upgrade?

Yeah I actually read this one article about how most stock blades are basically just tuned for sound and not actual performance, and it stuck with me for a while. I kept thinking mine were fine too until I swapped them out and the difference was wild. My first thought was like, is this even the same broom? It just glides so much smoother now and I don't have to fight it anymore. I guess sometimes you don't know what you're missing until you actually try it.
