Can we talk about the old ReStore on 118 Ave before they moved?

I was over near the old ReStore spot on 118 Ave the other day and it got me thinking. That place was a goldmine for cheap lumber and random hardware back in like 2015. I remember getting a full sheet of 3/4 inch plywood for like 15 bucks there once. The new location is way cleaner but it doesn't have that same chaotic energy where youd find weird old tools mixed in with plumbing parts. Anyone else miss digging through those dusty bins for hidden gems?

Wait, did you ever try hitting up the flea markets instead of the regular stores? I started going to this one on weekends and it's a GOLD MINE for old records and books. People sell whole collections dirt cheap 'cause they just want to clear out space. I found a first edition of a Stephen King novel for five bucks once. The bins are still dusty, but there's way less competition than at a thrift shop. Honestly, it brought back that same thrill of the hunt for me.
