Hit 50 straight foundation pours without a single callback
Finally counted my jobs from the last 2 seasons and realized I hit 50 flat pours with zero issues, been using a laser level on every footing since my first cracked slab disaster and it's wild how much that one cheap tool changed my whole process, anyone else track their stats like this or am I just weird?

Ditch the laser, use string lines on stakes. Faster and zero callbacks in 30 years.

...and honestly that reminds me of the time we set up string lines for a patio job and my apprentice tripped over the stake, yanked the whole line out, and then tried to blame it on the wind. I laughed so hard I almost dropped my level. We spent the next hour redoing the layout but the look on his face was worth every second. String lines are great until you got a guy who walks like a baby deer on ice lol.
