Heard a GC bragging about charging $180/hr for 'project management' while his site was a total mess
I walked past that house on 106th last week and saw three different crews standing around on their phones for 20 minutes, so how exactly does that rate justify leaving homeowners hanging with no timeline updates?

Honestly that's rough, homeowners really get the short end when someone's charging that much and can't even keep a basic timeline together. Ngl sounds like they're more focused on the rate than the results.

Did you ever have one of those contractors who shows up looking all professional with the fancy truck and then three weeks later you find out they took a vacation halfway through your bathroom reno? I had a guy once who was supposed to be done in two weeks and he kept saying "next week for sure" while I had a tarp over my toilet for a month. Like at some point you gotta wonder if they're hoping you'll just give up and pay 'em anyway or what.
