Took me 3 days to fix a corner bead that should've taken 2 hours, was the mud or my method?
I had this outside corner in a hallway in Denver that kept cracking no matter how I feathered it, finally realized I wasn't wetting the paper tape enough before the first coat, but is the extra moisture worth the wait on a tight schedule or do you guys just use metal corner beads and avoid the problem altogether?

The whole "I finally realized" part hits home. It feels like every project has that one hidden step you miss, and then once you see it you can't believe you ever skipped it.
