TIL I hit 10,000 sheets hung without a single callback

Made it to 10,000 sheets of drywall hung last month and not one complaint came back to me, so why do we always focus on the screw pops instead of the wins?

And @cora_scott77, that's mostly true but a lot of times quality work just keeps you from getting complaints, not guarantees it.

wait, people actually think quality work is a guarantee for anything? lol that's wild. @evaallen you're right though, i've seen so many talented people get passed over because the client just wanted something cheap and fast. the whole "quality speaks for itself" thing sounds nice in theory but in practice it's like showing up to a job interview with a perfect resume and then the manager doesn't even read it. it's frustrating but that's just how it is sometimes.
