Snapped the last screw in my collated gun right at the top of a vaulted ceiling yesterday

Had to finish the last 4 sheets by hand with a drywall screwdriver because the bit broke off inside the collet and I didn't have a spare 30 minutes to dig it out has anyone else had a brand new coil of screws just jam up and ruin your flow?

Snapped 3 dewalt bits last week doing the same thing.

Is it really that much of a problem though? @brown.gavin probably breaks bits every week and still gets the job done.
