Serious question, I always thought a 6-inch knife was pointless.

My partner on a job in Tacoma last week said, 'You're fighting that inside corner with a 12-inch like it owes you money.' Used their 6-inch for the final coat and it was way faster. Anyone have a favorite small knife brand that holds up?

Try a 4-inch knife for inside corners.

That's a solid tip honestly. Reminds me of the time my uncle tried to use a putty knife for everything, corners were a total mess.

I mean it's like that with so many things, right? People grab the one tool they have and try to make it work for every single job. I see it all the time with cooking, using a butter knife to open a jar instead of just finding the actual jar opener. Or in the garage, trying to hammer in a screw. It just makes the whole job harder and the result worse.
