Old timer told me to stop feathering so wide, I fought it for 3 months
Guy with 30 years on the crew said my seams were too thick because I was feathering 12 inches out to hide bad mud work. I cut back to 8 inches, took me a bit to trust it, but the flatness test with my 4 foot level finally passed on the first shot. Anyone else get told their feathered edges were masking a deeper problem?
