Last Tuesday was the worst day I've had on a job in 10 years
We were finishing a basement in an old house near downtown and the ceiling tape blew loose on all 3 seams because the temp dropped too fast when the homeowner shut the heat. Has anyone else had a whole room's tape fail at once like that?

Man that's the kind of thing that makes you wonder if we're all just one bad decision away from everything falling apart. Seems like when something goes wrong in a job it snowballs and takes everything else down with it. Bet that homeowner didn't think twice about shutting the heat either.
