Just lost a full day's pay on a bad batch of mud

I bought a pallet of 90-minute mud from a new supplier last week because it was cheap. Started a big ceiling job yesterday and the stuff started setting up in under 20 minutes. Had to scrape off two whole sheets worth of tape and start over with my usual brand. That mistake cost me about $400 in wasted time and material. Anyone else get burned by fast-setting compound lately?

My last bucket from Home Depot set up in 15 minutes flat.

Laying everything out first saved me a ton of time. Just sorted the parts before I even touched the instructions.

Totally get that, @anderson.david. Honestly felt the same rush when my last one went together without a single missing piece. Makes the whole job way less of a headache from the start.
