I was convinced that cheap mud pans were a total waste of money, but after my partner forced me to try his $40 Marshalltown for a week in Phoenix, the difference in cleanup time was shocking.

Has anyone else had a tool they hated on paper completely change their mind after a real test?

That cleanup time thing... I still think cheap pans work fine for me, @paul_patel40.

Honestly that "difference in cleanup time" line got me. I used to think all pans were the same until I borrowed a good one.
