Had a homeowner watch me like a hawk the whole time I was hanging board

I was working on a basement finishing job over in Renton last Tuesday. The homeowner pulled up a folding chair and just sat there staring at me for four hours straight while I was hanging 12-foot sheets on the ceiling. He kept asking things like "is that the right screw spacing?" and "my brother-in-law says you should use longer screws." I had to keep stopping what I was doing to explain my methods. Has anyone else dealt with a customer who just would not leave you alone to work?

Oh man, I would've started measuring out loud and second-guessing every move just to mess with him lol. Nothing like a free supervisor critique while you're trying to work, right?

Had a guy once literally breathe down my neck while I was hanging drywall. Started counting my screws out loud just to make him uncomfortable. He walked away after the third sheet. Some people just can't handle silence I swear.

Free supervisor critique" lol exactly, like oh great thanks for the unsolicited advice buddy. I feel your pain, some people just can't help but hover.
