Cut a whole bundle of 12-footers wrong on a Friday afternoon in Denver

Honestly, I was rushing to finish a basement in Aurora before the weekend and misread my tape. Ended up trimming a full bundle of 12-foot sheets down to 11-foot-8, leaving a huge gap at the top of every wall. Had to eat the cost for a new bundle and stay late with my mud pan to build up the framing. Anyone else ever have a measuring disaster that cost you a whole afternoon?

Trimming a full bundle" is the kind of mistake you only make once, I swear.

My first car's oil change taught me that.

Oh yeah, that "only make once" part is the truest thing I've ever heard.
