Swapped to a 6-inch discharge hose and it changed my whole day
Been running a 4-inch for years on my little barge setup in the Gulf. Last Tuesday I finally tried a 6-inch line on a shallow sand job. The material moved way faster and I barely had to touch the throttle. Anyone else notice a big difference when they upsized their hose?

Man I totally used to think bigger hoses were just a gimmick! I was running that standard 50 foot one for years and just dealt with the kinks and low flow. Then my neighbor let me try his 5/8 inch heavy duty one and I couldn't believe the difference. It made washing the truck and watering the garden so much faster I felt kinda dumb for waiting so long.
