TIL the 'drama' in big creator beefs is often just a repost battle
I noticed over the last 6 months that the same spicy callout video from Atlanta keeps resurfacing with a new caption, and each time it gains 40k more likes than the original upload. It seems like nobody checks the original date, so the repost gets all the credit while the first creator stays quiet. Has anyone else tracked a viral feud back to its actual first post and seen the reposter get way more heat than the originator?

Boy, this is like musical chairs but nobody ever checks if they actually sat down first! The reposters are basically professional DJs spinning someone else's track and getting all the clout. I've seen the exact same thing with a "cancellation" thread from last spring, the repost had better lighting in the thumbnail so everyone assumed it was the hot new thing. It’s wild how the algorithm rewards the loudest echo instead of the original voice. Honestly, at this point I just assume any blowup I see is probably a remix of something from six months ago. How do you even call that "drama" when it’s really just lazy recycling?
