That TikTok beef over the $900 cake in Phoenix got wild fast

I was scrolling last night and saw this whole thing blow up about a baker in Phoenix who charged $900 for a custom cake, then the customer posted a video calling it lopsided. The baker fired back with a 20 minute live showing the original sketches and like 15 emails of changes the buyer requested. Now there are split threads, one side doing zoomed in frosting analysis, the other digging up the baker's old reviews from 2022. It's honestly more entertaining than the reality shows I pay for. Has anyone else followed a local business drama that just spiraled into a full detective case?

The 20 minute live stream is what got me, that baker clearly had receipts and a folder full of screenshots like she was prepping for court. I once complained about a $40 haircut that came out crooked and the barber just said "that's how your head sits" and moved on, so I can't imagine having the energy to go 15 rounds over frosting. My wife keeps sending me the zoomed in frosting pics like we're CSI investigators, and honestly I've watched more of this drama than any show on my Netflix queue. Take this all with a grain of salt though, because my idea of a wild Friday is comparing cereal prices at two different grocery stores.
