Thinking about how we used to handle title block revisions

I mean, back in my first drafting job around 2010, we'd manually update every single sheet for a client name change. Now, with proper attribute blocks in AutoCAD, I updated a 50-sheet set in maybe 20 minutes last week. Anyone else remember the old way and what finally made you switch over?

You're right, it was just part of the job. The new way saves time, but it's not like we're curing cancer here.

Honestly, was it ever that big a deal? I get it, it was a pain, but we just did it. It was part of the job. You'd put on some music and just grind through the list. Now it's faster, sure, but I don't miss it like some huge life change. It's just one less boring task.

Right? It's not like we're getting hours back. Just a few less minutes of zoning out while your hands do the thing.
