So I finally tried a laser level after 10 years of bubble levels. Mixed feelings.

I always figured my $15 torpedo level was fine for drop ceilings and cabinet runs. But I borrowed a $200 rotary laser for a 1,800 sq ft commercial job last month, and it nailed the grid in 4 hours versus my usual 8. Still, I worry about the battery dying mid-run and the setup time on dusty sites. Anyone else flip one way or the other, or am I just stuck in my ways?
