Serious question, I was sure those $15 digital angle finders were just cheap junk.

Borrowed one from a guy on a site in Tacoma to check a header and it was dead-on against my old protractor. Anyone have a brand they've used for over a year that's held up?

Just watch out for the magnets, they can get weak and throw it off.

Ugh yeah magnets getting weak is the worst. I mean it happens so slowly you don't even notice until everything's messed up.

Wait, do magnets actually get weak over time? I thought they could lose strength if you drop them or heat them up, but not just from sitting around. Maybe the adhesive fails before the magnet does.
