Rant: The hotel ballroom CAD job that made me question layer naming forever
Got a rush project last Tuesday for a convention center reno in Austin, and the architect's file had 40 layers all named 'Layer 1' through 'Layer 40', so I spent 6 hours sorting them while the deadline crept up, but part of me wonders if strict layer standards are even worth pushing back on when the client is happy either way, what do you guys do when you inherit a total mess like that?
