Overheard a senior drafter say AutoCAD 2025 handles hatching way faster

I always stuck with older versions because I figured new ones just add bloat, but after I heard that guy at the print shop mention it shaved 20 minutes off his hatch pattern fixes I downloaded the trial and now I'm actually considering upgrading, anyone else find big speed gains in a specific update?

I read a forum post where a guy timed his hatch operations and said 2025 loaded them in about a third of the time compared to 2020. Made me wonder if they finally fixed the engine instead of just adding shiny new tools. Might be worth a try for anyone who spends half their day fixing hatch patterns.
