My revised shop drawings finally match my field measurements

After 8 months of fighting mismatched dimensions on commercial projects in Austin, I started double checking everything against the actual laser scan before sending to the engineer. It cut my redlines down from about 15 per submittal to 2 or 3. Has anyone else tried cross referencing scans this way or do you stick with the original survey?
