Figured out why my layers kept shifting on a big print job
Turns out the Z-axis lead screw had a tiny burr on it from the factory that took me 4 hours of troubleshooting to find. Anyone else ever spend half a day hunting down a weird mechanical issue that turned out to be something simple?

Got a whole box of failed prints once before I figured out my bed leveling was off by a hair. The leveling screws were just a tiny bit loose from the factory. Tightened them up and everything worked perfect after that. It's always the little stuff that wastes hours. Drives me crazy when it's something so stupid simple.

Wait, they shipped it with loose leveling screws from the factory? That's wild, I would have been so mad finding that out after a whole box of fails.

That burr thing is brutal, especially after four hours of hunting. It's always the dumbest little fix that takes forever to find.
