Can we talk about that weird dimensioning error in AutoCAD 2024?
Spent three hours yesterday trying to figure out why my baseline dimensions kept snapping to the wrong point. Turns out the 'osnapz' system variable was set to 1 from some old template file. Anyone else run into this yet?

Oh man, that osnapz thing got me last month... lost a whole afternoon to it. Old templates are the worst for hiding those little settings.

A whole afternoon on osnapz? I once spent three days trying to figure out why elevations were wrong on a site plan. It was an old template from 2012 that had osnapz set to 1 and ortho mode locked on. The project lead was asking for progress updates while I was just drawing lines in space.

Three days on a locked ortho mode. That's brutal. Your lead must have been ready to fire you. I had a similar one where the layer state was frozen but not turned off. Spent hours redrawing something that was already there, just invisible. Old templates are like inheriting someone else's hoarder basement.
