A 20 year veteran drafter told me to slow down, and she was right

I was bragging about how fast I cranked out a 400 sheet set last week, and this senior drafter from the Portland office just shook her head. She said my speed meant nothing if the engineer had to rework half the details. It hit different because she pulled up my recent markups and showed me three mistakes I missed in the field. Any of you ever get put in your place by an older hand and actually change your whole approach?
