Overheard a guy at Lowe's say he uses a hair dryer to fix his laminate flooring edges
Was grabbing some trim in the molding aisle and this older guy tells his buddy he uses a regular hair dryer on high heat for about 30 seconds on laminate planks that have lifted edges. He said it softens the glue just enough to press it back down. Never heard that before. I always used a iron with a towel but the hair dryer idea seems way easier to get into tight spots. Has anyone else tried this instead of buying a heat gun?

Yeah that hair dryer trick works great, I've done it on my own floor and it really saves the hassle of dragging out a heat gun.

Read somewhere a flooring guy swears by this too.

I gotta disagree with @tara_jones94, the heat gun is way faster and does a cleaner job.
