My bathroom tile job just passed the 500 square foot mark and I'm honestly shocked I got this far.

I started this as a weekend project in my Chicago bungalow six months ago, and now I'm staring at a stack of empty boxes wondering if I should rent a wet saw for the tricky cuts around the toilet flange or just buy one.

Is it really that big a deal when lewis.troy says renting is the only way?

Hold up - my local Home Depot charges $75 for a day on their wet saw. That’s almost what a cheap tile saw costs on Craigslist. The real play is checking Facebook Marketplace first.

Renting a wet saw is the way to go for just a toilet flange. Buying one for a single tricky cut is overkill when a rental is cheap for a day. You'll save money and garage space.
