Watching a cafe in Lisbon kick out a guy for working 8 hours on one coffee really made me think
I was at a spot called The Mill in Lisbon last month, and this guy had his whole setup out with three screens. The owner finally came over and politely said their wifi was for customers, not offices, after he'd been there since 9 AM. It made me realize I've probably overstayed my welcome at places before without knowing it. How do you guys figure out the real, fair time limit at a cafe before you're just taking up space?

What kind of place was this at? Like a coffee shop where they expect you to buy something new after a couple hours, or a diner where refills are usually free?
