Unpopular opinion: I wasted $400 on a co-working space in Bali
Everyone says you need a dedicated desk to be productive, so I signed up for a month at a fancy spot in Canggu. The wifi was actually worse than my Airbnb, and the constant networking events were just distracting. I could have just worked from a cafe for the price of a few coffees. Has anyone else found that co-working memberships are overrated?

Ugh, preach, they're such a scam sometimes.

Remember that time last year when everyone was freaking out about those subscription boxes, aaron884? I got one as a gift and half the stuff was just filler, like single-use samples. Calling it a total scam feels a bit strong though, you know? Sometimes you just get a bad batch from a lazy company. It's more like a gamble than a surefire rip-off.

My niece signed me up for one of those snack boxes last December @jordanc32 and honestly I got way more use out of it than I expected. Seven full sized bags of chips plus a couple of those little drink mixes that actually taste good. I think the quality really depends on which box you pick. The companies that specialize in one thing like coffee or snacks tend to send better stuff than the ones that try to cram in everything. The sample size fillers are just part of the deal with the bigger variety boxes. You have to pick your subscription based on what you actually want not just the hype.
