Shoutout to the coworking space in Chiang Mai that convinced me hostels are a terrible place to work from

After 3 months of noisy calls and spotty wifi at Lub d, I finally tried Punspace and realized I'd been wasting half my productive hours trying to work from a bunk bed common area - has anyone else made that switch and seen their income jump?

Dude the bunk bed common area part hit me hard. Did you actually track your income change before and after, or is it more of a "feel" thing?

Hitting hard" is putting it mildly. I actually did track it, mostly because my wife made me. We were bringing in about $2,100 a month before I built that bunk bed setup, and the first three months after, it jumped to almost $3,400. So it's not just a "feel" thing, though I sure felt awfully cramped.

Wait, wait - $3,400 from $2,100 just from switching your desk setup? That's a 60% jump from a bunk bed frame and some plywood. I've been toying with building my own standing desk for months but kept thinking it couldn't make that big a difference. Your wife was right to make you track it, those numbers are wild enough to make me actually measure my own before and after.
