Overheard a guy on a coworking call say "location independence is just organized homelessness"

Sitting at Selina in Medellin last Tuesday and this dude on his laptop just drops that line to his buddy. Got me thinking, cause he wasn't totally wrong. After 18 months bouncing from Chiang Mai to Mexico City, I've got like 3 pairs of shoes and zero furniture to my name. Anyone else feel more like a drifter than a fancy traveler?

Location independence is just organized homelessness" hits hard. My whole life fits in a single carry-on bag now.

Did you ever have a hard conversation with yourself before you downsized, where you had to decide what really mattered to keep? I'm curious because I've been trying to pare down my own stuff and I keep bumping up against things I think I need but probably don't. What finally tipped the scale for you to get rid of the rest of it?
