My internet bill dropped by $40 after I switched to a local SIM in Chiang Mai
Was paying $60 a month for a global roaming plan from my home carrier. Data was slow and it cut out all the time. After 3 months of frustration, I grabbed a $20 AIS tourist SIM at 7-Eleven. Speeds went from 5 Mbps to around 50 Mbps and coverage is way better when I work from cafes outside the city center. Anyone else just use local SIMs instead of keeping their home plan?
