My co-working space in Medellin had a strict 6 PM wifi shutdown
I booked a month at a popular co-working spot in El Poblado last March. They cut the internet at exactly 6 PM every day without warning. I found out the hard way when I lost a client call at 6:05 PM. Does anyone else run into weird rules at co-working spaces abroad?

Totally feel you on this. I had a similar thing happen in a hostel in Buenos Aires where they turned off the AC at 10pm sharp on hot summer nights. Just zero warning, you'd be sitting there working and suddenly the room gets stuffy and you're sweating through a deadline. For a co-working space to kill the internet at 6pm without any heads up is super unprofessional, especially if they're advertising as a place for remote workers.

Theres this thing I notice more and more where places just quietly drop services without saying anything, like they think nobody will notice. Actually happened at my local coffee shop, they used to have free wifi all day but now it cuts off at 5pm on weekdays, no sign on the wall or anything. Youre trying to finish up some emails and suddenly your connection dies, feels like youre being punished for staying late. Its this weird trend of businesses offering something and then silently taking it away hoping nobody makes a fuss.
