I used to think coworking spaces were a waste of money

For two years I bounced between coffee shops and hotel lobbies, telling myself I was saving $300 a month. Then I spent one week at a place in Chiang Mai and got more done in five days than the previous month combined. Anyone else find that paying for a desk actually pays for itself in productivity?

Did the WiFi actually hold up the whole week though?

Yeah the WiFi at the Beacon was honestly solid all week. I was streaming a live sports game on my laptop while my wife was on Zoom for work and we didn't have a single drop. The only hiccup was on Wednesday night when everyone was trying to upload photos at once but it still held up better than most places. Definitely a nice change from some of the spots where you're constantly reconnecting.
