Hot take: coworking spaces in Chiang Mai are way overrated compared to just working from a quiet cafe

I spent $150 on a monthly pass at Punspace and ended up sitting in a corner cafe 4 days a week anyway because the wifi was faster and I didn't have to hear 20 people on Zoom calls at once anyone else feel the same?

Yeah, that whole "speed tanks hard around 2 PM" thing hits home. I've noticed this happens everywhere now, not just coworking spaces. Like even my local coffee shop gets totally unusable between 2 and 4 because every laptop warrior logs on for their afternoon grind. It's become this weird unspoken scheduling pattern where everyone's trying to work at the same time and the internet just gives up lol. Makes me wonder if we're all just pretending these places are productive when really we're all fighting for the same bandwidth and silence at the same exact hour.

Punspace is one of the worst examples for Wi-Fi honestly. The speed tanks hard around 2 PM when most remote workers hop on their afternoon calls. Better spots like ALT or Yellow have much more reliable connections for the same price.
