Hostels vs coworking cafes for wifi... hostels win every time for me

I spent 6 months bouncing between coworking spots in Chiang Mai and got sick of buying overpriced lattes just to use the internet, but a proper hostel lounge gave me fiber speeds for free. Has anyone else ditched the cafe scene for hostel lobbies instead?

Not sure it's that deep honestly. Hostel wifi can be just as unreliable if there's a bunch of people streaming stuff. Guess it depends on the spot.

Whoa wait, @eric723 you're telling me you've actually found hostel wifi that works when people are streaming? I've never had that luck, every time I try to load a page it feels like dial-up all over again.

Pro tip, go check the wifi at 3am when everyone's asleep lol
