Criticism from a Bali coworker made me ditch my to-do list system

I was using a complex app with tags and priority levels for 6 months in Ubud. A developer I shared a table with said 'your system looks like work, not freedom' and that hit me. Anyone else simplify their workflow after someone called them out on it?

You really let one comment from some coworker in a coworking space shake your whole approach? Six months of a system getting tossed because a random developer thinks life is about 'freedom' like it's a yoga retreat slogan. If it worked for you, seems like the real lesson is just not sharing your screen with critics who have nothing better to do.
