Chose a coworking space over a cafe for 3 months. Big mistake.

I was in Medellin. Picked this fancy coworking space. $200 a month. Thought it would fix my focus issues. But the WiFi went down twice a week. People took loud calls right next to me. Cafes I was avoiding? Better coffee, free internet, and I actually talked to locals. Anybody else regret locking into a coworking membership?

Thought it would fix my focus issues" - that's the part that gets me. A coworking space isn't gonna magically make you focus, that's on you. Sounds like you just picked a bad spot with crappy wifi and loud people, not that coworking spaces are all scams.

yeah that's fair, i get what you're saying. sometimes we just hope the new environment will do the heavy lifting for us.
