Switched to a hydraulic press for injector cups and wish I did it years ago
For the last 10 years I always used the old hammer and punch method to remove injector cups on 6.7 Powerstrokes. Took forever and I ruined a couple cylinders from a slipped punch. About 6 months ago I finally bought a OTC hydraulic press kit from the local tool truck. First job I did with it was a 2014 F-250 and I had both cups out in under 20 minutes. Has anyone else made this switch and found it cut down on comebacks?
