Swapped a fuel pump on a Peterbilt in a blizzard last February, customer watched from his truck the whole time

Honestly, that customer sounds like a real piece of work. Ngl, I would've been tempted to accidentally hit his truck with a snowball or two while he watched. Tbh, at least he was out of your way, but the lack of even a coffee offer is cold in more ways than one. Hope you at least charged him extra for the "blizzard surcharge." Man, some people just don't get it.

Did the guy at least acknowledge how ridiculous it was to watch you shovel while he sat warm in his truck, or did he just stare at you through the window like a statue? I'm curious if he made any kind of small talk or just sat there pretending you were invisible the whole time. Because there's a special kind of awkward when someone's ten feet away watching you work and says absolutely nothing - that's almost worse than being rude.

Are we sure he wasn't just zoning out from exhaustion?
